Samsung Galaxy A56 5G Price in Pakistan 2026 – Specs, Review & Is It Worth Rs. 137,999?

By Omar Shahid, Mobiles Writer — March, 2026

Samsung launched the Galaxy A56 5G as its most significant mid-range upgrade in years — and Pakistani buyers have responded by making it one of the most searched phones in the market right now. The Galaxy A56 brings together a dazzling 120Hz Super AMOLED display, fast and efficient performance with Exynos 1580, a triple rear camera setup with OIS for clearer shots, a battery that lasts all day plus gets charged fast with 45W charging, and IP67 water resistance — all backed by six years of OS upgrades and security patches.

At Rs. 137,999 in Pakistan, it is priced at the upper end of the mid-range segment. Whether it justifies that price is what this review answers.

Design and Build

Samsung slimmed down the bezels on the A56 to deliver a 6.7-inch display that is larger than the 6.6-inch panel of the Galaxy A55 5G. The thickness has also been reduced to make the Galaxy A56 5G easier to grip in one hand.

The front is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ — a genuine premium material at this price point. The build feels more solid than its price suggests, with a design language that closely mirrors the flagship Galaxy S series.

Available colors in Pakistan: Awesome Coral, Awesome Navy, Awesome Olive, and Awesome White.

Display

The Galaxy A56 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 1200 nits peak brightness.

Whether you are gaming, browsing, or watching videos, the visuals stay bright and fluid. The 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and animations feel noticeably smoother than 60Hz panels.

The display is the strongest area of the A56. At this size and specification, it is genuinely hard to fault for its price.

Performance

The Exynos 1580 chipset with a 2.91GHz Octa Core CPU handles multitasking, streaming, and everyday use smoothly. Combined with 8GB RAM and One UI 7, the A56 delivers a consistently responsive experience.

The A56 features a larger 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1,200 nits brightness and an enhanced processor compared to the Galaxy A55 — which had a 6.6-inch display at 1,000 nits.

Gaming performance is solid for casual and mid-tier titles. Heavy 3D gaming will show the Exynos 1580's limits — but this phone is not positioned for gaming-first buyers.

Camera System

The triple rear camera includes a 50MP main lens with OIS for sharp shots, a 12MP ultra-wide for stunning landscapes, and a 5MP macro for close-up details. A 12MP front camera ensures clear selfies and smooth video calls.

The 50MP main camera with OIS is the standout — optical image stabilisation at this price range significantly improves both photo and video quality in real-world shooting conditions. Galaxy A56 5G supports intelligent features such as Circle to Search, Object Eraser, Filters, Auto Trim and Best Face.

Video records up to 4K at 30fps on the rear camera — a full specification confirmation is available on Samsung's official website.

Battery and Charging

The battery of Galaxy A56 5G is 5000mAh and lasts up to 29 hours of video viewing time. Galaxy A56 5G supports 45W Super Fast Charging — a significant upgrade from the 25W charging of the Galaxy A55 5G.

45W charging is one of the most competitive charging speeds in Samsung's mid-range lineup — a meaningful upgrade that Pakistani users who charge quickly during breaks will appreciate.

Software: 6 Years of Updates

This is the Galaxy A56's most underrated advantage.

Galaxy A56 5G supports up to 6 generations of OS upgrades and up to 6 years of security updates. In a market where most mid-range phones offer 2–3 years of updates, six years is exceptional — and significantly extends the useful life of the device for budget-conscious Pakistani buyers who keep their phones for 3–5 years.

Is Samsung Galaxy A56 Worth Rs. 137,999 in Pakistan?

At Rs. 137,999, the Galaxy A56 competes directly with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro (Rs. 79,999), which offers a 200MP camera and 5500mAh battery at a much lower price. The honest difference: Samsung wins on software support (6 years vs 2 years), display quality, brand trust, and official warranty network in Pakistan.

For Pakistani buyers who keep their phone for 3–5 years and value long-term software security updates and local Samsung service centres, the A56 justifies its premium. For buyers who prioritise raw specs per rupee, the Redmi Note 14 Pro at Rs. 79,999 is the better value calculation.

Rating: 8.2/10 — A well-rounded mid-range phone with an exceptional software update commitment. The 45W charging and Gorilla Glass Victus+ are genuine upgrades. The front camera downgrade and absence of wireless charging are the real disappointments.
